FTDI chip is a Windows/Mac registered device, that means it is Plug and Play(PnP) and function immediately after plug in without driver installation process. The cable has 6-pin RJ-12 connector on one end and USB on the other end. It is equivalent to KPG-4 with USB input. It works with the following Kenwood Tk and TM series radios.
